Builder Touts Farmweld's Innovation, Commitment


Mike Jewison owns and operates Equipment Outlet, a Janesville, MN-based swine building construction firm and equipment retailer. He recently handled construction and equipment installation for Rick and Jan Anderson’s new 4,000-head nursery, another Farmweld customer’s 4,000-head nursery and a 2,400-sow gestation facility at the Waseca, MN-based Woodville Pork, operated by Pete and Paul Zimmerman and Cliff Jes.

Jewison says he’s been impressed with Farmweld’s commitment to his clients during the planning, construction and follow-up.

According to Jewison, Farmweld delivers three important ingredients to each job:

1. PERSONAL DESIGN SERVICE
"Farmweld helps us to tailor each job to meet the customer’s specific needs," says Jewison. "If a customer wants a specialty item, Farmweld is able to make that work from a design standpoint."

2. INNOVATIVE PRODUCTS
Farmweld is continuously working to implement new innovations that meet the changes in the industry," says Jewison. "The Flip-to-Clean system is a good example of Farmweld’s commitment to make things better for producers."

3. COMMITMENT TO CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
Jewison says that Farmweld has earned a reputation for standing behind its designs and quality products. For example, an installation crew at the Woodville Pork project had questions about how to properly install some of the gating which was the result of an innovative Farmweld design. What happened next impressed both Jewison and his customer. "Frank (Brummer) actually spent the day working alongside me and the installation crew to make sure we all understood how the equipment should be installed and how it should operate. That meant a lot," says Jewison.
