Innovative Al Trolley Available from Farmweld

			The new Farmweld A.I. Trolley

Teutopolis, IL… Farmweld recently unveiled its innovative, new Farmweld A.I. Trolley, ending the need to repeatedly hoist and carry a cooler and tray of supplies while artificially inseminating rows of gilts or sows in gestation stalls. The Farmweld A.I. Trolley is a stainless steel tray with four wheels. It glides along a special track incorporated into Farmweld's new A.I./Gestation Stall. The tray is large enough to carry a small semen cooler, a disposal container, insemination rods, gloves and other breeding supplies. Small holes in the base of the tray allow for easy, thorough cleaning and drying.

"The trolley will make A.I. tasks more convenient by keeping all of the equipment and discard baskets in front of you," says Dr. Joe Connor, a consulting veterinarian at Carthage (IL) Veterinary Service, Ltd. "Innovations like Farmweld's A.I. Trolley improve breeding efficiency, allowing workers and technicians to concentrate more energy on identification of estrous, breeding techniques and record-keeping, while improving sanitation." says Connor.

Frank Brummer, president of Farmweld, says the new trolley will also help prevent damage to semen products. "The trolley is a safeguard against accidents. Without it, it is not uncommon for coolers and trays to get dropped and semen and other supplies to be damaged," Brummer says.

The new Farmweld A.I./Gestation Stall has been completely redesigned with nonremovable pull-pins that won't get in the way or misplaced. In addition, the new Farmweld A.I./Gestation Stall features a u-shaped back gate that's convenient for workers. Workers can easily step through the gate and into stalls, which eliminates the need to open gates or climb over them.
