Manufacturing
"It
makes a difference knowing you are doing something for someone,"
says Farmweld manufacturing manager Kenny Griesemer. "Our people
recognize that they are building equipment for an end-user, not
just to fill a pipeline," continues Griesemer.
Daily
production meetings keep projects on track. Order tickets are distributed
to various employees responsible for those jobs throughout the production
process.
There's also a strong sense of pride in the environment
at the company. "People comment all the time about how clean our
plant is kept," says Farmweld President Frank Brummer. "That's because
our employees take pride in their workplace and that pride is reflected
in the work."
Farmweld's
manufacturing plant encompasses a 30,000 plus square foot production
floor and warehouse. Automation such as robotic welding has greatly
improved Farmweld's productivity and level of precision in manufacturing.
